You love plants, right? Who doesn't?! But keeping them alive and healthy can be a whole different story. Come learn horticulture basics with Kelly Cirone, owner of Flora. We'll go over everything from different types of plants, soil, containers, watering, fertilizing, and more. Plus we'll cover how to spot signs of trouble and what to do about them.
During the hands-on portion of the workshop, we'll get our hands in the soil and practice potting up plants in custom soil and new containers that you will be able to bring home. The workshop will take place under the covered patio of Flora's beautiful gardens. Space is limited to 5 enthusiastic plant newbies to ensure plenty of individual attention.

Past Event - SOLD OUT: Succulent Dish Garden Workshop

Succulent dishes are beautiful and because they're so popular now, it's never been easier to make them yourself. This event will kick off with some succulent basics. Kelly Cirone, owner of Flora, will cover soil, light, watering, containers, fertilizing and more. Once you feel comfortable with the plants, we'll get our hands in the soil and craft our succulent creations. We'll talk about color combinations, texture, structure and overall container aesthetics. Tickets are $35 (plus tax) and this covers plant education and Flora's custom succulent soil blend. Bring your own containers and succulents or purchase materials at the event. Please let us know if you plan on purchasing from us so we are sure to have enough materials. We'll send out a message with container and plant suggestions when you sign up. The event is limited to 5 succulent lovers to ensure tons of personal attention.
